The application process
This is a 3 step process.
- Applicants successful at longlisting will be invited to a half day assessment centre. The first part of the selection is a numerical reasoning and a verbal critical reasoning test. You will NOT require a calculator. Candidates are required to attain a set level in these tests before progressing to shortlisting.
The opportunity to practice the exercises will be given on the day but there will also be an opportunity to see practice items before this. Details will be given with the assessment centre invites.
Assessment centres will be held in four locations and you will be invited to attend one of the two assessment centres nearest to your home address (with available places at time of reserving a space).
- Applicants successful at the assessment centre will be subject to shortlisting. See the sample of shortlisting framework.
- Applicants successful at shortlisting will be invited to a half day selection centre. The dates and venues of the selection centres are being decided locally.
The second part of the selection consists of interviews, a group exercise and presentation. You will be given details of the presentation and time to prepare on the day. Only candidates who attain the set level at the assessment centre will be invited to the selection centres.
Selection centres will be held in at least three locations and you will be invited to attend the centre which covers your first choice training programme.
Candidates wishing to apply should ensure they are available for these dates as alternatives will not be provided.
